My Ableton Master Template is a massive tool I made that gives you all the tools you need to make tunes quickly & easily. Now understand that this isn’t necessarily a walkthrough of the Ableton Master Template as I only planning on using what I need to make a tune, instead of trying to fit every tool into this video. I have a series of videos if you want a detailed walkthrough of the template.

How to set velocity sensitivity in Ableton’s Sampler instrument

The Velocity settings that react to your midi sensitivity in Ableton’s Sampler is found in the Filter Tab of Sampler. I know that can be a bit confusing for some, so that should help.

I set the velocity sensitivity so I could make my bass part more dynamic by adding loud notes & quieter ones. This gave me the vibe I was going for & helped the song sound not so rushed.

By duplicating the scene I had created, I now have the new Bass & the old one for a bit more flexibility when structuring the song.
