Reviewing 2023 & moving into a strong 2024
Thank you all for another great year, Your attention & support mean everything.
Without you, I am just a guy shouting at clouds. I much prefer my work helping
aspiring producers to make some of their best work.
My focus for 2023 was improving user experience for MusicSoftwareTraining.com
& Producer’s Playground/Transformation Station members. I made navigation
much easier & fixed a number of little bugs, so everything works more seamlessly.
I also focused on my Music Habits Podcasts & have posted quite a few. As of
writing this I just released my 62nd podcast. My hope is that they fill you
with some of the wisdom I’ve gained over decades of music making & keep
you inspired to face your creative challenges & take action.
Audio Books
There are now audio versions of both my bestselling books, “The Mental Game
of Electronic Music Production” and “The Process for Electronic Music Production“.
If you don’t currently have Audible, you can get one of the books for free with a
30 day trial & keep it regardless of if you stick with Audible.
Continued focus on your transformation
Although I still keep fully up to date on Ableton & share plenty of tips, my goal
is always to help you focus on what matters, things that will make a true difference,
instead of filling your head with more and more “information”.
You know what I always say, “information rarely leads to transformation”. I prefer
to give you actionable advice that will actually push your music forward. This is
a theme that is much less popular from production coaches & most youtube
channels.
Although it can be fun to learn cool tricks be entertained while learning, most
of this won’t have an immediate use for your unique style of music. We have
all gone down rabbit holes learning complex tricks for a style of music we
will never make.
It’s important to know the difference between killing time with production
entertainment, and working on the fundamentals that matter in a way that
meets you exactly where you are at.

My focus for 2024
For 2024, I plan to continue with most of the above, while also making
several new Masterclasses and updating ones I want to improve upon.
I’ll also be making easy to follow walkthroughs for Ableton 12 and diving
into some of the new effects & instruments, so you will be fully up to date.
Ableton Master Template Updates
For my Master Template enthusiasts, expect more tools to be added
throughout 2024. I’ll be improving on the best set of sounds, tools &
templates out there. Those who already have it will of course get these
updates for free.

2024 Relaunch of the “Create an EP in 30 Days” Master Course
